2025 Tata Altroz gets an updated exterior and interior while the powertrain choices remain the same
Prior to its formal debut, Tata Motors has unveiled the Altroz's redesigned appearance in India. Since its first release in 2020, the Altroz has been a respectable seller, and the most recent models include a number of new features. The front lighting system, called "Luminate," uses LED technology, and the exterior has flush-fitting door handles, a sculpted front end, and a redesigned grille design. Now, linked LED tail lamps complete the back.
Similar to the exterior, the cabin has undergone significant changes. The main feature is the updated dashboard, which features two 26.03 cm HD screens: one for the infotainment system and another for a digital instrument cluster. The highlights of the interior improvements include an air purifier, better upholstery, and ambient lighting.
The Altroz has relied significantly on its safety credentials since its inception as the first Tata vehicle developed on the ALFA platform. Six airbags, ESP, and a door that opens 90 degrees for simpler entry and exit are all included here. The Altroz portfolio grew over time, adding the Racer in 2024, dual-clutch DCA in 2022, twin-cylinder CNG in 2023, and Dark edition in 2021.
A 1.5L, four-cylinder turbo diesel engine and a 1.2L, three-cylinder NA petrol engine are the only powertrain options available for the 2025 Tata Altroz. While its turbo version generates 90 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque, the original generates 87 horsepower and 115 Nm. There are two gearbox options: a six-speed DCT and a five-speed manual.
The same gasoline engine powers the CNG variant, producing 73 horsepower and 103 Nm of torque that are transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed MT. Additionally, the domestic maker has stated that customers can select from the following trim levels based on their preferences: Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S. There are now five hues in the color scheme: Pristine White, Royal Blue, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, and Dune Glow. The salient characteristics of each variety are enumerated here:
