Triumph Scrambler 400 XC Launched In India At Rs. 2.95 Lakh

The 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cross-spoked wheels of the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC are covered in tubeless dual-purpose rubber.

Today, Triumph debuted the Scrambler 400 XC in India. Although it has the same garage as the Scrambler 400X, the XC version honors the brand's more than 70-year-old Scrambler heritage by focusing more on its off-road heritage. Reminiscent of its large Scrambler siblings, the 900 and 1200, the upright posture, chiselled tank, and high-mounted parts retain a recognizable shape. This 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400 XC looks like a real scram, from the upswept exhaust and concealed liquid-cooling system to the functional aluminum sump guard and stainless steel twin-skin headers. The TR-series 400 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine is still capable of producing a maximum torque output of 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm and a robust 40 PS at 8,000 rpm.

A six-speed transmission with a slipper and assist clutch is coupled to the powertrain by default. With its 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cross-spoked wheels shod in tubeless dual-purpose rubber, the Scrambler 400 XC stands out from the standard 400 X. Additionally, it has a monoshock at the back and long-travel USD forks with a travel of 150 mm.

Hand guards, a raised mudguard, engine bars, and a windshield are all included as standard equipment for the safety of riders. In terms of technology, Triumph has off-road ABS, switchable traction control, and a complete LED lighting system with a distinctive DRL headlight. The key-based immobilizer, USB charging connector, and digital-analogue instrument cluster complete the feature package. Also, customers will receive levers that may be adjusted. Triumph offers the motorcycle with the "Scrambler" insignia in three distinct colors: Vanilla White, Storm Grey, and Racing Yellow. For added personalization, customers will also have access to over 20 authentic accessories. All of this is supported by an ownership package that includes choices to extend coverage or enroll in custom AMC plans, a five-year guarantee with roadside assistance, and 16,000-kilometer service intervals.

With a price tag of Rs. 2,94,147 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC is priced around Rs. 27,000 higher than the Scrambler 400 X. The Speed 400, which retails for Rs. 2.46 lakh (ex-showroom), is another model in the series.
